How to Unblock a PTA Blocked Phone

Due to the laws and regulations set by the PTA your phone can sometimes get blocked, but don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world. To unblock a phone blocked by PTA, all you have to do is go through this article and follow the directions.

Why did the PTA block your phone?

After a certain period of use, if your mobile phone is not registered with the PTA, your phone may be blocked. Registering your phone is important because it helps the PTA keep track of imported and smuggled devices in Pakistan. In most cases, such phones owned by the owner while traveling abroad are not registered with the PTA and the appropriate tax must be paid to continue using them.

  13. Once you have paid, you will receive a message indicating that your phone has now been approved by the PTA.

How Much Do You Need to Pay?

Tax calculation depends on the price of the device you are using. Even if you import a used phone from abroad, the tax targeted will be at its current market level.
